Sun Valley Resort’s Pray for Snow Party is scheduled for Saturday, November 7, 2026, from 4–8 p.m. at River Run Lodge & Plaza. The gathering looks ahead to the 2026–27 winter season, with vintage ski outfits encouraged and music from DJs Luke Ross and SID3S. [1] [2]
There are two ways to contribute while you are there. Five cans of food earn one raffle ticket, or tickets can be purchased for $5 each; the resort says proceeds benefit The Hunger Coalition. A separate collection of lightly used jackets supports the Shoshone Project. [1]
The resort also lists a special food menu and bar service. Its full raffle prize list was still forthcoming at our November 2 check, so use the official event page for updates before heading over. [1]
Why it matters here.
Make this a low-key start to winter planning: pull out a favorite old ski layer, check the pantry for donations and set aside a jacket you no longer use. Confirm the event details before leaving home.
