Ketchum residents, businesses and other community members have through October 22 to weigh in on four transportation concepts. The city’s fall survey follows its open house and will help inform future planning and priorities; these are potential improvements, not an announcement of construction. [1]

The questions cover a possible northbound Highway 75 turn lane onto 10th Street if future traffic warrants it; changes to property and business access around 9th and 10th streets; an underpass connecting the Saddle Road multi-use path to Highway 75; and new paths along 2nd Avenue and 4th Street linking downtown with neighborhoods and existing routes. [2]

The city recommends watching its linked open-house presentation before responding. The survey also leaves room for additional questions or feedback, so participants can explain concerns beyond a yes-or-no answer. [1] [2]

The OM perspective

Why it matters here.

Think about the trips you make regularly—walking downtown, cycling from your neighborhood or reaching a business. Specific examples can make your response more useful than a general preference. Review the concepts and share what would improve those everyday trips.
