Winter planning is underway in the Wood River Valley: BCRD’s 2026–27 Nordic season-pass sale began October 12 and continues through November 22. The adult pass is listed at $285 plus tax during the sale, compared with $340 plus tax at the regular-season rate. [1] [2]
There is also a change to watch at Quigley Trails Park. BCRD says part of the stadium area will remain closed until further notice while new sports fields establish, and dog trails are being rerouted because of the Quigley Farms development. Updated maps are expected closer to the season. Check BCRD’s trail reports when planning a ski day; the pass sale is not an opening announcement. [2] [1]
Why it matters here.
If Nordic skiing is part of your winter routine, this is a good time to compare pass options and plan around the trails you expect to use. For Quigley regulars, make checking the updated map part of the first outing rather than relying on last winter’s route.
